Contribution of FIACAT and ACAT RCI to the third Universal Periodic Review of Côte d'Ivoire
The aim of the alternative report drafted by FIACAT and ACAT RCI is to evaluate the implementation of the recommendations and commitments made by Côte d'Ivoire concerning the improvement of the human rights situation since the second Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of that country.
FIACAT and ACAT RCI wish to draw attention to a certain number of concerns. These concerns relate mainly to the abolition of the death penalty, mob justice, extrajudicial executions, the prohibition of torture, the administration of justice and detention conditions.
