The Committee against Torture holds its 54th session in Geneva from 20 April until 15 May 2015.
On this occasion, FIACAT and ACAT Luxembourg have submitted a joint alternative report on the implementation by Luxembourg of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. FIACAT and ACAT Luxembourg wish to draw the experts of the Committee’s attention to a number of concerns. These concerns relate mainly to the treatment of asylum seekers, detention conditions in the Detention Centre and separation of adult and minor detainees in the Luxembourg Prison Centre (CPL).
